Okay, so I have my step-brother Jered to blame for all of this. He has a funny, witty blog that I enjoy reading, and his last post mentioned NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). I have been considering a blog of my own for awhile, but I've been nervous that my life is mundane enough that no one would be interested in reading about it.
Enter NaBloPoMo. If you decide to embrace this challenge, you are to post something EVERY day during the month of November. This proved to be the catharsis needed to get my blog started. However excited I am about "penguinloveisbeautiful.blogspot.com," I am nervous that I won't be able to rise to the challenge. I have SEVERAL trips planned for the month of November that will keep me on the road 21 of the 30 days this month.... We'll see how this experiment works out.
This all means that you will be hearing from me frequently this month. I hope that I can live up to any (if any) expectations you might have, and enhance your day in some way. Thanks for tuning in!

This is about the most exciting thing all day.
Here's a tip -- whenever you think of a "bloggable" entry, go into blogger and save it. A couple of us have saved a few extras for the days when inspiration lacks.
